1. How much will it cost? The better question is, "What is your design budget?." Many projects can be completed in a less complex fashion so as to meet your budget. Or, on the contrary, there can be more freedom, and a more detailed approach if your budget allows.

A clear vision on the front side will help ensure an efficient and low cost end result. It's difficult to communicate all of the research and detail involved with a project, as each project is unique.

After the initial free one hour consultation, your project will be invoiced at $65 per hour. I am fully committed to communicating with you throughout the project so you are never surprised by a charge.

• Business cards (simple & single sided using existing logo): Average of 2 hours
• Business cards (more complex, double sided using existing logo): Average of 4-6 hours
• Postcards: Average of 3-6 hours
• Posters: Average of 10 hours
• Logos: Average of 5-7 hours
• Brochures: Average of 10 hours
• Web design: Average of 12 hours for simple sites, with larger projects easily taking longer
• Wordpress or Joomla CMS: Special $600 design and installation

Every client has a budget in mind, but you may feel apprehensive about revealing it with the idea of being cost-efficient. Price does matter, but it shouldn't be your top criteria. Those who value professional design also understand that the ultimate gains in revenue and exposure outweigh the design investment. With that in mind, I will work explicitly within your budget and communicate with you throughout the project.

2. What are the benefits of using an independent designer as opposed to a larger company? The benefits include a more genuine relationship, lower costs and virtually instant communication throughout the project.

3. When will my project be completed? It usually depends on the complexity and size of the project. 2-3 weeks is an average turnaround time. Rush service is available at a surcharge of 50%.

4. What about hosting the site or printing the materials? I can help with the finishing process including printing and hosting. This is charged at the same hourly rate. Monthly hosting charges also apply. If you would rather complete this process yourself, I will be happy to share my sources with you.

5. When is payment due? One half is due at the beginning of the project, and the other half upon completion.
